 | Santisima Muerte (Most Holy Death) is a folk saint who is very prominent in Mexican curanderismo and brujeria. She is invoked for cases ranging everywhere from protection, reconciliation, revenge, justice, basically the whole spectrum of requests. Whatever it is, the Santisima Muerte can help. There's a lovely proverb: "God helps the good, and the Devil helps the bad; but Death treats everyone the same." |
